Reunion After About a Year

It had been about a year since we last met. Kanako, who works as a teacher at an elementary school in Yokohama, took advantage of a holiday to come and visit us, a couple. She was my student during middle and high school, and despite more than 20 years passing since her graduation, we still keep in touch. She has been supportive of our tea ceremony workshops, and this time, we decided to enjoy matcha together.

My wife, Naoko, skillfully prepared the matcha, and the sweet confections were delightfully sweet. We talked about various events of the past year and made plans to meet again next year. Before parting ways, we promised to cherish the upcoming year so that when we meet again next year, we will have exciting stories to share, all while maintaining good health.
